Skate It hits iPod/iPhone, screens smeared by ‘Flickits’

You’re probably playing Skate 3 right now (and I totally recommend it), but if you’re looking to play on the go, consider Skate It for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The game was released on the App Store this week, and will run you $6.99. The title uses a mix of “Flickit” controls and accelerometer controls. If you manage to do anything super sweet, you can save replays, and do so while listening to your own music you have loaded on to your device.

Odd that EA didn’t have an iPad native version ready. Sure, you can upscale for the bigger screen, but those iPad specific apps look crisp as hell. I suppose the price tag would also take a hit as well… I’m not even sold on the $6.99 price, not having played it yet. So let me know if you get it and what you think, will you?
