Blur beta wrapping up, new features in last five days

Recommended Videos

I’ve loved playing in the Blur multiplayer beta/demo, but the time is swiftly coming for that chapter to come to a close so that the actual game will appear on store shelves. Activision sent out a press release where they called the beta a success, so I suppose it was.

More importantly, they mentioned some new features which might lure you back in for one final taste before the demo closes on May 10th. Here’s a rundown:

  • The ability to play A-Class cars in standard playlists
  • An expanded Supercar Racing Playlist that include races in Tokyo and Amboy
  • Power-Ups now shuffle so each race has different Power-Up placement
  • Players can earn double the amount of fans for each race, allowing players to quickly reach Rank-15 and experience the full Beta demo experience
Cool stuff. Maybe I’ll pop on for a bit Friday night. After all, I won’t have another chance until Blur drops on May 25th (May 28th in Europe).
