While you wait for Gears of War 3, why not get your Transformers on? The upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron looks like it borrows more than a little from Epic’s popular third-person shooter, and that’s not an entirely bad thing.
So if you’re already dedicated to your War for Cybertron purchase, maybe you should reserve it at Best Buy. Doing so will get you an exclusive multiplayer character, Jazz. (Get the headline now? Get “jazzed”? Get it?) The pre-order is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of the game only, for obvious reasons I’m sure owners of other consoles have come to terms with by now.
War for Cybertron hits shelves on June 22; we’ll be checking out the latest build of the game later this week, so expect some new details over the next few weeks.
