EA blasts Activision for ‘shooting a racehorse’ in IW

Activision has been boasting that it made millions out of the Modern Warfare 2 “Stimulus Pack” DLC. Fellow publisher and bitter rival Electronic Arts never misses a chance to criticize Activision, and has been quick to state that the financial celebration was in poor taste, following the Infinity Ward decimation

“This is kind of like announcing: The race horse I shot last month has won the Triple Crown!”, retorts director of corporate communications Jeff Brown.

This sassy zing follows a previous sarcastic quip made by Brown when he said: “We don’t have the time to comment on the many lawsuits Activision files against its employees and creative partners.” It seems that EA is having a field day with the pot-stirring as Activision continues to make itself look like a villain in the Infinity Ward controversy.

Of course, it’s a little hypocritical if you consider EA’s history of developer treatment, but they’re still pretty damn good one-liners. I like the cut of this Jeff Brown’s jib, and he’s alright by me.
