Yep, Alpha Protocol PC will be protected by DRM

Don’t be surprised to find that your future PC version of Alpha Protocol is protected by DRM. Just don’t ask us what that DRM is. Speaking with Eurogamer SEGA confirmed that the game would be protected and specified that a company named Uniloc will be doing the protecting. But what that translates to in terms of hassle or even security is beyond us: the company’s Web site is vague about its game-side solutions.

If it makes you feel better, Uniloc believes its “SoftAnchor” solution is hassle-free. “SoftAnchor manages copy protection and digital rights ‘politely’ and unobtrusively,” the Web site reads, “without compromising your legal users’ productivity and activation experience.”
