Professor Layton anime to be released in English

There’s a Professor Layton animated movie called Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva that was released in Japan awhile back. It was written by Level-5’s Akihiro Hino, the designer of all three Layton games, for theatrical release.

Now it’s coming westward…kind of. Manga U.K. says in their Twitter feed that tthey’ll release the first movie, though they’ll likely change the name before it’s all said and done. In September, it will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray.
