Blizzard puts out another patch for Diablo II

Recommended Videos

It’s amazing that Blizzard continues to support Diablo II years and years after its initial release. But the studio does, and seemingly will continue to do so in impactful ways. Take, for example, the latest update released — 1.13c — which addresses a myriad of bugs and even game-side tweaks to enhance the experience in Diablo II and its expansion, “Lords of Destruction.”

The patch list is massive, but we’ve whittled it down to the two most important band-aids: visual improvements for Intel-based Macs with OS 10.5 or greater and the reduction of “explosion damage” by Fire Enchanted monsters. (Just kidding — the option to re-spec is quite awesome.) Check out the full list at Shacknews if you’re curious about what all has changed, or don’t and surprise yourself. It would be like looking in the mirror for the first time after several long nights.
