Another one of the indie games being made with the Serious Sam license is Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack by Be-Rad Entertainment. The iPhone AND Android game sees you controlling a Headless Kamikaze and it’s your goal to blow up Sam by karate kicking back the bombs and missiles Sam is throwing at you. You’ll blow yourself up if you karate kick the air too long so you have to manage how long you keep your attack up for.
Yes, you actually get to play the bad guy in this and kill Sam. The entire concept is stupid. Stupid in the “oh my god I want this game RIGHT NOW” kind of way. I played this at PAX East a few months back and it seriously was one of the highlights of the show.
No word on a release date, but I expect we’ll be seeing it very soon.
