Hollywood actor and sometimes wrestling star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has stated that he wouldn’t be against starring in another videogame-based film, even though DOOM “didn’t work out” as planned. He also added that he’d think a Black Ops movie would be badass.
“I thought we had an opportunity with DOOM,” he admitted. “Didn’t work out the way we wanted it to, creatively.” He said that he’d do another videogame movie “if the right one came along.”
The Rock believes that Call of Duty is ripe for film: “Black Ops — that’d be bad ass. Let’s make it happen. Let’s do it. That and Black Swan 2.”
