Greed Corp out on XBLA and PSN next week

Turn-based strategy with some smokin’ hexagonal tile action … no, we aren’t talking Civilization V. Wrong post! Greed Corp is the name of the game, and it’s been dated for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade. That’d be February 24 and 25, respectively.

Similar to what Gaijin Games is doing with the BIT.TRIP series, W!Games has plans for Greed Corp to be part of an overarching universe that’s tied together through completely separate videogames. A neat concept, for sure.

Thankfully, Greed Corp has more going for it than that — the mechanics look solid, and the idea of balancing between gaining more resources and destroying the environment is an interesting one. Plus, the game is competitively priced at $10.

Seems like a must-demo for strategy fans.
