Sony goes deep with PSPgo discount, then pulls out early

Fear of commitment? Performance issues? Sony’s not bringing their A game, which is surprising coming from such a player.

Sony had dropped the price of the PSPgo system to $149, but it didn’t last long. Somehow they quietly hiked the price back up to $200. Sony’s own webstore has that silly thing where a higher price is crossed out with a new, lower price ($199) set right next to it. The problem is that we knew it was even lower than that for a short time, Sony.

What are they trying to pull? They need to figure out their sh*t soon. The 3DS launches in America in just a couple of weeks. Hell, their own NGP is on the horizon. I’d say they need to do everything in their power to sell the remaining PSPgo systems. Now.
