A closer look at the Red Dead Redemption GameStop outfits

Recommended Videos

No, no — don’t be silly. Even though the Deadly Assassin outfit for Red Dead Redemption is clearly going to be the GameStop pre-order bonus, as it should, they haven’t closed the polls early. We did, however, get a video about the various bonuses the in-game outfits provide.

The most interesting part of the trailer is easily the evil bear; everything else is kind of “ehh” and (as expected) screams of “guys, guys, GameStop, guys!” I liked it better when these Red Dead videos were more substantial in length and meaningful in content.

As far as I can tell, we haven’t heard one way or the other on what is happening to the two losing outfits. Will they be auctioned off to other retailers for use as pre-order incentives, become available for free online, or just go to waste? Boy, game reservations sure have been sucking it up lately.
