Mortal Kombat demo brutalizes PSN Plus next week

Warner Brothers has confirmed that a demo for Mortal Kombat will appear on the PlayStation Network next week, ahead of its April 19 release. It’ll be available for PlayStation Plus members first, with PS Plebeian members having to wait.

Releasing on March 8, the demo will allow access to Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Mileena and Johnny Cage. Two stages — Living Forest and Fire Pit — will be selectable, and it’ll support one or two players. If you don’t have Plus, it’ll hit on the 15th.

Xbox Live is scheduled to get the game “later.”

The latest entry in the Mortal Kombat franchise is looking really good, and one can only hope the hype is justified. Guess we’ll find out for sure next week!
