Latest Blur teaser shows off ‘unique culture,’ explosions

Of all of the games that were delayed last year, I was surprised how much I was upset by Activision pushing Blur into 2010. Having played some four player split-screen, I’ve been sold on the game’s high intensity, Mario Kart meets Project Gotham action for awhile.

This latest trailer — which focuses on the game’s “unique racing culture” and story progression — seems to do the game justice as well. Slick visuals, fast cars, and stuff blowing up. One of the devs says you’ll earn fans in your career by “doing cool things.” Example: shooting lightning out of the ass end of your car. What more can you ask for, really?

Blur is set to ship this spring for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
