Diablo III used to look pretty bloody depressing

Some pictures of an early Diablo III build have bubbled to the surface of the Internet, providing a look at the miserable Diablo that could’ve been. Amusingly, this is the build that hardcore Diablo fans would probably have liked, since they railed against the use of color in the current incarnation. 

So, for those purists, here’s a grey and dreary look at what you could have had. Does this look good to you? I can’t say I care for it, but then, I think we have enough games that use this color palette already.
