Nintendo DLC Update: Phoenix Wright and Word Searcher

Recommended Videos

Nintendo doesn’t disagree; the star of the Nintendo downloads selection this week is Capcom’s four-case downloadable Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (1000 Wii Points) — a game which, assumedly, will feature the same elements of the handheld versions except now with 100 percent more Wii remote waggle.

Rounding out the WiiWare experience is the platformer Chronos Twins DX (1000 WP) and puzzle game Shadowplay (800 WP).

Junk wouldn’t be the right word, but it looks as if this week’s DSiware offerings are more of the same stuff. Nintendo is whipping out Solitaire (200 Nintendo DSi Points), Akysys Games is throwing out Jazzy Billiards (500 DSiP), and Digital Leisure wants us to find words in Word Searcher (500 DSiP). Great.

This week’s Virtual Console game? Shanghai II: Dragon’s Eye — a game that sounds cooler than it probably is. (FYI: Shanghai was not built on top of a dragon’s face.)
