Dungeons demo out now, worth a look

Specifically, the demo for Dungeons is worth looking into because so many of us were under the impression that it would be in the same vein as Dungeon Keeper. (To be fair, the trailers were expertly crafted.) That really is not the case at all, and so long as you realize this going in, there’s some fun to be had.

Rather than being an all-seeing entity, you do have direct control over a Dungeon Lord — who can still more or less see everything. You’re tasked with luring heroes into your dungeon just long enough for them to collect treasure (only one example) before taking them down on the way out.

While quite a few factors outside of playing the game itself would suggest otherwise, Dungeons is its own game. Give it a try, and hope that expert modders can provide us with that classic Dungeon Keeper experience down the line. Honestly, that’s all I want.
