Apparently, Jeux Video is fond of a giggle and told a joke so hilarious nobody actually got it. The site said last week that the possible vaporware known as I Am Alive had been demoted to a digital release. That was a joke of some kind.
“Although our responsibility in this story is zero, we still want to apologise for the misunderstanding arisen from this innocent trait of humor,” said JeuxVideo.
Okay, I guess?
I don’t get why this joke would be funny, as it seems too banal and pointless to make up, but sure. Apparently, producer Jade Raymond was “taken aback” by the story getting out there, so it seems the little “gag” got quite out of hand and everybody else got suckered.
Ah well. Looks like it’s back to limbo for I Am Alive.
