THQ dropping Company of Heroes Online, WWE Online

Recommended Videos

During THQ’s third quarter fiscal 2011 financial report, it made an announcement that shouldn’t come as much of a shock given this morning’s news about Company of Heroes Online being “evaluated.”

The company has “reevaluated its strategy of adapting certain Western content for free-to-play online games in Asian markets.” The end result is, unfortunately, that both Company of Heroes Online and WWE Online have been canceled.

I don’t know anyone who actively played WWE Online, but there were certainly fans of CoHO. The question is, would you rather Relic go back to the old formula? This cancellation might not be such a bad thing.
