New stuffy, highbrow Record of Agarest War trailer

I lied. This one is horny and shameless. The upcoming PlayStation 3 and now Xbox 360 game Record of Agarest War wouldn’t necessarily be classified as a horny game, but you wouldn’t know it from this trailer. Bravo, I say.

You do have to be careful when promoting a game like this, though. There’s a fine line between doing the tongue-in-cheek thing and just looking brainless and juvenile. I think the audience for this game already knows what’s up, and is expecting a RPG/dating sim from Japan.

The other thing that they have to be careful about is that people are stupid on the internet. Someone is going to see this and think that it is an erotic game. There are girls and love and weddings and such, but bent-over “backdoor” shots are not part of this game.
