Five Minute Taste: 0 Day Attack on Earth

Recommended Videos

Normally we do “Ten Minute Tastes” here at Destructoid, but I ran into a little problem with 0 Day Attack on Earth, which hits Xbox LIVE Arcade today. I died at the five-minute mark. As our own Jonathan Ross put it, “You are terrible at this game.”

Yes. Yes I am.

0 Day Attack on Earth is a dual-stick shooter that has players defending cities torn up by an alien invasion. Shown here is my battle to protect what’s left of New York City, but later in the game you’ll unlock Tokyo and Paris alien-invasion venues. Interestingly, it seems the map is based on satellite imagery; I’m pretty sure I saw the building where I used to work in Manhattan.

The game supports four-player online co-op, but since I suck so badly, no one would play with me. I’m not even going to get into the eight-player versus mode, considering my skills are apparently weak.

Oh, and I apologize for the “Five Minute Taste” opening. I had to throw that one together real quick.

0 Day Attack on Earth is available on Xbox LIVE today for 1200 MS Points.
