Gran Turismo Anywhere update coming next month

Recommended Videos

If you’re somehow bored of real racing with real controls, you can go into Gran Turismo 5‘s B-Spec mode and tell another driver what to do. Exciting, right? While B-Spec mode may not be the best choice when you’re actually in front of your PS3 and controller, I think it would kick ass from a web browser while at work.

A tweet from Polyphony Digital head man Kazunori Yamauchi says that the Anywhere feature should be coming in February, and that it should be included with the next game update. With this, you’ll be able to control B-Spec mode with your PC or mobile device. You’ll be able to send driving commands to a racer, much like a manager would from the pit.

What sucks is that you won’t be able to actually complete B-Spec races. This Anywhere mode will have you racing friends from your commands. You won’t be able to finish and earn credits and cars, says Eurogamer. That’s a shame.
