PopCap trademarks ‘Robodojo’

Once again PopCap Games has shown that Plants vs. Zombies might not be its last new IP before the Earth spews oblivion in 2012. The developer just slapped a trademark on Robodojo, a name for a mysterious bit of software.

Considering its unannounced status, we’ve got nothing more than the possible game’s name — which, actually, sounds like a slice of heaven when spoken. And on that front, still don’t know much about PopCap’s other trademark (YetiTrain) from over a month ago.

Strictly surface-level, we’re thrilled with the name of the game. Robots and dojos need to be more in more games. But for robots, the context is important. That Judge Dredd hillbilly scene probably looked f’ing brilliant on paper.
