Man, the Internet is really good at putting puzzle pieces together — Prototype 2 is real!
So about that whole “Murder Your Maker” thing — the trailer seems to hint that players won’t be taking on the role of Prototype protagonist Alex Mercer. Instead, the voice over is from the perspective of one Sergeant James Heller, who appears to blame Mercer for ruining his life.
Revenge is serious business. The game is set for a 2012 release date, and that’s a pretty long wait, but we’ll no doubt hear more soon.
