Sony ships 4.1 million PlayStation Move units

Recommended Videos

Hot off the heels of Microsoft announcing the sale of 2.5 million Kinects in 25 days, Sony has arrived with its own boast, but it’s not q. According to the platform holder, over 4.1 million Move controllers have been shipped worldwide since the September 17 launch. That’s shipped again, not sold.

Sony hasn’t confirmed any sales, preferring instead to keep yammering on about “trying to meet demand” as if pretending to be Nintendo hard enough will make it real. Sony’s vagueness really doesn’t speak too highly of the peripheral’s performance. Nor does the relative dearth of supported software.

Please don’t let this turn into another PSPgo fiasco. I really don’t want to lose anymore faith in Sony.
