New Indie Game: The Movie clip shows Spelunky footage

Make that footage from the Xbox LIVE Arcade version of Spelunky, which is beefier and less pixel-y than the long-since-released PC freebie; I was one character over the limit in the headline there.

In this latest slice of Indie Game: The Movie, we’re shown the new game in motion for the first time. But more importantly, we get to see designer Derek Yu talk about how creating games is like wearing a Half-Life headcrab at all times. He also hits on the importance of communities and the indie network.

As always, this documentary continues to fascinate. And it’s not even out yet. Be sure to go back through and watch past clips if you’re new to it all. I cannot recommend doing that enough.
