Rock Band: AC/DC pack to hit non-Walmart shelves soon

Recommended Videos

Remember that AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack that was released only at Walmart last November? Well, if you missed out or couldn’t bring yourself to walk into the mega-retailer’s stores, good news — you should be able to get it elsewhere this November.

GameStop is listing the track pack for shipment on November 4 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PlayStation 2. If GameStop is correct, the 18-song disc (all live tracks) will run you $19.99; when the disc hit Walmart last year, it cost anywhere from $29.99 to $39.99. So if you paid that much for it, be happy knowing you were a year ahead of the pack on this one.

These standalone discs for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have their own trophies, and all of the tracks can be transferred to your hard drive for play in Rock Band 1 or Rock Band 2. Neat, right? (No, that doesn’t work for Wii or PS2… sorry!) Also of note, like 90% of the songs have those “big rock” finishes, because AC/DC doesn’t know how to calm the hell down.
