Uh, what? NBA Elite 11 has been canceled

In what will surely be the big what-the-eff story of today, NBA Elite 11 has officially been canceled.

This announcement was made by CFO Eric Brown during EA’s earnings call, and followed up by a comment from EA COO John Schappert: “Future development of that franchise will be handled at EA Tiburon in Orlando.”

After EA Sports delayed NBA Elite 11 until further notice, I expected them to come back with positive news — not something this dramatic. My goodness.
