Dead Nation will have on- and offline co-op

Super Stardust HD creator Housemarque made it official on the PlayStation Blog: the studio’s new zombie-shooting joint for PlayStation Network, Dead Nation, will have both online and couch co-op at launch.

“We decided that this was a must-have feature and it would be unfair to you if we launched without it! At this point, our coders went from working 12 hour days to working 16 hour days as well as weekends! Fortunately I think what we came up works really well,” says CEO Ilari Kuittinen.

A slick trailer was posted alongside the announcement. You can really tell that this is a Housemarque game just by looking at the presentation and style. So … smooth? Yeah, smooth.
