Bid on rad original Katamari Damacy art for a good cause

Floating World Comics put together a Katamari Damacy-themed art show recently, and much of the featured original artwork is now up for bid on eBay. Check out the listings for yourself.

All proceeds from these auctions go to JOIN, a non-profit organization based out of Portland which “exists to support the efforts of homeless individuals and families to transition out of homelessness into permanent housing.” A noble cause, indeed.

My personal favorite is Alex Puvilland’s piece, which is partially shown above. It’s the whale at the tip of the Ferris wheel that really brought it all together — and I like how it doesn’t immediately scream “Katamari Damacy,” or even “videogame,” for that matter.
