Ubisoft partners with health mags for Kinect Your Shape

As if there was any doubt that Ubisoft’s Your Shape: Fitness Evolved was going to take your health to the next level, the publisher has announced a partnership with Men’s Health and Women’s Health for the title. Both of those magazines have the word “health” in their names, so you know this is serious business.

The game, which utilizes Microsoft’s Kinect motion camera, will feature Men’s Health and Women’s Health workouts tailored for the game. They have hilarious names like the Men’s Health “The Sleeve-Busting Arms Workout” and “The Ultimate Men’s Health Fat Loss Workout.” Women can tone with “The Perfect Legs and Butt Workout,” “The Toned Arms and Shoulders Workout,” and “The Skinny Jeans Workout.”

Honestly, if Microsoft and Ubisoft play their cards right, this is the kind of “game” that can really push Kinect into the mass audience for amazing success. Bundle Kinect with Your Shape for $150 and you’ve got yourself a winner, I can almost guarantee it. The Kinect bundle with Kinect Adventures? Yeah, about that…
