Rockstar art books canceled

Just last week we were talking about how lovely this Rockstar Games book collection was. At about $450, I don’t think anyone was truly planning to purchase it, but the 500+ page collection of art from all of their games was still something to lust over.

The project has been scrapped, so you can stop pretending like you were ever going to buy it. The publisher told Wired that Digital + Analogue: The Art and Science of Rockstar Games has been canceled, and the listing on their website has been pulled.

As if to make up for it, there’s a new project by book editor Eva Prinz on Rockstar. There’s no details on that yet, but we’re hoping it costs less than $450.
