I don’t listen to the radio because I hate being sold stuff. I hate the guy that does the fast disclaimer at the end of the radio commercial too. I want nothing to do with any of that. Besides, all the cheesy love ballads of the late 1980s and early 1990s have gone away. Why isn’t there more Billy Ocean songs?
If you play MMO All Points Bulletin you’ll be hit with some radio ads. I doubt they’ll be like the terrible ones you hear on the radio, but they’re still ads. There’s no word yet on what kind of products will be advertised.
Realtime Worlds has admitted that players will be hearing in-game ads while playing APB. Big Download says that an ad will be heard each time a player enters a new district. There will be no ads at all if you play the game for several hours, but if you sign off and back on again, you’ll get another.
