E3 10: Monday Night Combat gets all single-player/co-op

Recommended Videos

The more and more I see of Monday Night Combat the easier it is to get excited about it. The entire idea and look of the game really just looks like a blast in general, and the “Blitz Mode” shown off above does nothing to change that fact.

In this mode instead of going head-to-head against a human opponent you defend your money ball from hordes of robots attempting to steal it. This allows the game to have an actual single player along with co-op for up to four players. Blitz mode will also feature multiple challenge times and the obligatory endless wave of enemies.

The trailer also is a great way to get acquainted with the six different class types in the game so that you can choose who you want to play as before the game lands this summer during the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade. It will run you 1200 points.
