Indie game Eufloria coming to PlayStation Network

Have you ever seen Eufloria? If you haven’t, iit is an insanely pretty little PC indie game that has made big waves recently. It was a finalist for the Vision and Grand Prize awards at the 2009 Independent Games Festival, actually. It’s one of those relaxing ambient gaming experiences, but it’s actually a real game (no offense to the other zone out style games or their makers), and requires you to work some strategy into that relaxing mindstate.

The developer now confirms that Eufloria is coming to the PlayStation Network in early 2011. Next year’s release is something they consider a reboot of the game, and will feature some of the things they wanted to get in the first time around but couldn’t, due to things like day jobs. Speaking of: Their latest blog post says that day jobs have been quit so that they can focus on working on Eufloria full time. That’s always nice to hear.

As for what to expect in the PSN version, they say graphical and interface improvements will join new content next year. There’s no word on pricing yet.
