DICE’s Gordon Van Dyke joins up with Visceral Games

Gordon Van Dyke, the guy you may or may not know as the producer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, has left DICE to work on a unnamed project at Visceral Games. And before you even think about asking if his new role has anything to do with Battlefield, don’t — he’s already said on Twitter that’s it won’t be related.

Speaking of tweets, there’s more where that came from. Perhaps the most insightful of Dyke’s remarks is this one over here, in which he says “I think this project is going to impress and surprise gamers.”

What a coincidence, I’m always looking to be impressed and or surprised by the videogames I play. Bad Company 2 has been a recent favorite of mine; let’s hope I can say the same about this unannounced Visceral project.
