Alan Wake finally done, gets a new, long trailer

Finally! Remedy’s Xbox 360 exclusive Alan Wake is done and ready to ship. Word from from Alan Wake community manager Peter Papadopoulos, who posted the announcement on its official forums.

“I want to congratulate the team at Remedy on successfully completing Alan Wake and passing certification,” he writes. “It’s been a long and exciting road and I think I can safely say on behalf of the community here, congratulations!!”

To celebrate (or a mere coincidence), a new trailer for the game has hit Xbox LIVE. Since you’re probably not reading this from your Xbox 360, just watch it here if you’d like. It’s long, clocking in at over four minutes, and it’s pretty awesome. If you haven’t been following Alan Wake up until now, this is a good primer to get your ready for the game’s May release.

Oh, and hey Europe — did you hear it’s coming out sooner than you had original expected?
