Realistic Mega Man isn’t as scary as box art Mega Man

It was only a matter of time before someone followed the “redesign beloved videogame characters as semi-realistic, creepy art” trend with a classic gaming icon like Mega Man.

Concept artist Jason Hazelroth stepped up to the plate, and I’m actually quite glad it was him instead of some guy on the Internet with the intent to purposely ruin my childhood using disturbing drawings. As I said in the headline, his work is considerably less terrifying than the early box art Mega Man.

The fact that he created his own version of Rush was pretty bodacious of him too. Note: Someone requested that I work the word “bodacious” into a post. I just did — where’s my money?
