At this point, it’s hard to tell what impact 3D will have at GDC 2010. But at least one studio, Crysis developer Crytek, is prepared to blow out our eyeballs with the latest in stereoscopic crap. In an announcement blasted out earlier this afternoon, Crytek revealed that it’s presenting on CreENGINE 3’s S-3D capabilities at the show, and will also give a demo for “LiveCreate,” the dev solution that allows studios to make a game for all three platforms with a single editor.
Sounds great and all — we like what we’ve seen thus far with CryENGINE 3. Granted, the disembodied old man’s head plays into our opinion, but we all have our biases, right?
