Metro 2033 to ship with Steamworks

Expect Steam Achievements and much more when 4A Games’ subterranean horror FPS, Metro 2033, ships. Valve has announced a deal with THQ to ship the PC version of the title with Steamworks, meaning the game will be supported with a wide berth of familiar Steam features: Achievements, auto-updates, and DLC delivery.

A bit of icing on top the Steam cupcake, THQ is prepared to give even more copies of open-world action title Red Faction: Guerrilla with Steam-specific pre-orders of the weirdo FPS, which is set to launch on March 15th. It’s like THQ can’t give enough of these things away. Or kill the trade-in price enough.
