RTS Kings and Castles announced

Developer of RTS Supreme Commander, Gas Powered Games, has announced that it just started doing work on another RTS dubbed Kings and Castles. Details are lacking but we do know a few things: its set to hit the PC and “next-gen” consoles, and you’ll control a king set on killing and capturing his foes.

Gas Powered plans to keep all of us abreast of the game’s development in a weird marketing strategy. “We’re doing something different this time around,” the studio’s Chris Taylor said in a statement. “We want to take our fans on adventure with us. They’ll get to go behind-the-scenes and watch the game come to life from start to finish.”

You can watch the game’s progress via the game’s official Web site, a place that we expect will have numerous videos and dev blog posts over the next few months. Also, expect this to be a bit offbeat — the first video is about development, horses, and chickens.
