Robomodo and Tony Hawk are pumping out another game

Tony Hawk Ride may have been met with mostly unfavorable reviews, but now that the skateboard peripheral is in the homes of disappointed children everywhere, it’s only logical that developer Robomodo would want to put out at least one more game to make full use of the device.

Similar sentiment was expressed by Robomodo president Joshua Tsui when he said the controller was seen as a platform by the company. And a tweet by Tony Hawk about his next project being “already much better than I expected” with the promise of “details soon” all but confirms this thing is happening.

While we’re sort of on the topic of Ride, let’s take a moment to look at the above promotional image. A globe? Really? These two must do a lot of exploring on the side. There’s also the lack of an actual console, and the dude on the beanbag looks to be more active than the guy playing the game.

This really is the best promo image ever.
