BioWare wants turnaround for Mass Effect 3 to be short

The wait for Mass Effect 2 is almost over — the game drops in just about three weeks or so. And while we’re totally prepared to celebrate the launch, we’re not ready for another brutal wait. The good news is that it doesn’t seem that BioWare is too keen on keeping us in suspense for long. Speaking to IGN, project manager Casey Hudson made it plain that BioWare wants to get Mass Effect 3 out the door fast(er)-like.

“We always wanted to make sure that we got the entire trilogy of games done within the console’s life cycle,” Hudson told IGN. “We didn’t want to take forever with it.”

“So we definitely want to make Mass Effect 3 a fairly short turnaround, but also being that it needs to be a tremendous and epic conclusion to the trilogy,” he said.
