Amazon offering cheap(er) 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold cards

Recommended Videos

One of the few great things about those Microsoft Points cards and, as evidenced by this new Amazon sale, the cards for Xbox LIVE Gold membership is that they are often sold at a discount. Right now, you can get the 12-month XBL subscription card for $34.99 which is a solid 30% off the normal asking price.

While it’s not quite down to “just pennies a month,” I’ll gladly pay a little under $3 per month to access the early timely demos, online multiplayer, and integrated Netflix while continuing to completely ignore the apps for Twitter and Facebook.

Also, if you are terminally ill and only have a few months left on this world, Amazon has the 3-month card for $15.96. Because we all know you want to spend your last days getting an earful from a rowdy bunch of immature assclowns over the Internet.
