Mistwalker developing an iPhone game

It may be true that developer Mistwalker is hard at work on some brand new, epic RPG for us to blow hundreds of hours on in turn-based combat, but it appears they’re also working on something a bit lighter as well. Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Final Fantasy, and founder of Mistwalker has revealed that the company is developing an iPhone game as well. Of course, knowing Mistwalker the game could be 100 hours long and no lighter than any of their console games.

During a Happy New Year post the developer said that in 2010 his long awaited new blockbuster project would be coming and that the team is “also working on a project for iPhone,” which, “should be released soon as well.” He also posted the above image. Lost Odyssey or Blue Dragon in iPhone form? I’m taking bets on which franchise now.
