This should be pretty interesting, right? Japan’s top ten game purchases on Amazon? Surely it won’t be all RPGs and monsters and hunting and whatnot, right?

So there’s a lot of role-playing games. What do you want? It’s Japan! The big one was Dragon Quest IX, naturally. Mii on-the-go game Tomodachi Collection (Friend Collection) was right behind it in the #2 spot, though. Otaku made their mark with #5, PSP game Hatsune Miku PROJECT DIVA. Who would have thought the mascot would get their own game one day?
Some of my favorites are on this list, too. Resident Evil 5, Tales of Vesperia (PS3) and Yakuza 3 made the cut. Oh, and Monster Hunter 3. You can’t have Japan without Monster Hunter.
