Nintendo has announced that Glory of Heracles will be released for Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi on January 18.

The role-playing game draws inspiration from Greek mythology, with players roaming the countrsides of Athens and Sparta. The stylus will be used to use spells or power-ups in battle, with an option to use either the touch screen or the d-pad to move in the game. You know, like a videogame.

Glory of Heracles was released in Japan in 2008, and was written by Kazushige Nojima, famous for his work on many Square Enix role-playing titles (Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts). The series has been going strong in Japan since the late 80s, when the first title made its debut on the 8-bit Famicom system.
