What Uncharted 2 playlists do you want? Tell Naughty Dog

Do you frequently browse Naughty Dog’s Web site? Cool, me neither; this news is meant for our eyes only.

The Uncharted 2 developer is interested in hearing your feedback on what, if any, new multiplayer playlists should be implemented next. Over on the European PlayStation Blog — which, by the way, is sexier than its US counterpart — they have got the various options spelled out for us:

  • Plunder Only
    All Plunder, all the time. No variations, nothing but capping treasure and shooting enemies.
  • Crushing: All Game Types
    The Crushing variation on all maps with all game types. Crushing is a more hardcore version of our rule set where players have less health and no Boosters are active.
  • Crushing: Deathmatch Only
    The Crushing variation on all maps in standard Deathmatch only.
  • Skilled Objectives
    All Objective game types, but now with a Skill Level. Skill Levels are tied to each playlist, so all players would start with a Skill Level of 1 in this playlist, regardless of the Skill Level already achieved in the Ranked playlist.
  • Deathmatch Variants Only
    All the Deathmatch variants including Sniper/Pistole, Pistols/Grenades, RPG’s, and Crushing.

It’s always nice to see a developer show sincere interest in what the fans have to say, and I’m not just saying that. People don’t love Naughty Dog for the great games alone — the studio is a class act all the way. Also, the picture? For once, it’s not my doing. Blame Hamza, not me.
