A sliver of Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond footage

In theory, Eat Led: The Return of Matt Hazard was my kind of game. I love good self-referential humor and inside jokes in my videogames, but only if the gameplay is executed well. Half-Minute Hero? Fantastic on both accounts. Eat Led? Ehh, not so much.

That’s why I have some faith in the upcoming PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade game Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond — even if the game plays poorly, as a side-scrolling shooter, it’ll still be better off than Eat Led was in a massive sea of generic first- and third-person shooters.

Very cautious optimism will be my train of thought when talking about Blood Bath & Beyond, since this newest trailer is mostly live-action and only a fraction of the video is the actual game. Also, what was shown didn’t look particularly promising.

For what it’s worth, the skit was kind of funny.
