Trick or Treat: Ju-On hits shelves October 13th

I really want XSEED’s Ju-On: The Grudge, even though I’m pretty sure it’s the type of game I’m going to play for thirty minutes and then only put on for Halloween parties. Whatever though, I’m a sucker for haunted houses, and having a “haunted house simulator” sure beats more than half of the Wii’s current library in awesome points.

XSEED has announced that the game will hit store shelves on October 13th at the price point of $29.99. Having been a fan of the Ju-On films since the first entry in the series, I’m very interested to check the game out and see if it captures the creepy feel of the films. Anyone else gonna set this up at their Halloween party this year?

XSEED Games Announces October 13th Ship Date for JU-ON: The Grudge

Just in time for Halloween, XSEED Games has been holding a grudge on Wii™ owners and has vowed to make amends starting October 13th. JU-ON: The Grudge, a haunted house simulator developed by feelplus, immerses players in a number of mysterious and eerie locales shrouded in utter darkness.

Armed with only a flashlight, players’ safety depends on thorough exploration of cursed surroundings, including an abandoned warehouse and a decrepit hospital. Move quickly, because as your batteries drain and the darkness closes in around you, it becomes explicitly clear that something far more sinister than rats is lurking behind you.
